Klotz Guitar Studio
Private Guitar Lessons

Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Guitar Instruction

What To Expect

When you take private acoustic or electric guitar lessons at Klotz Guitar Studio you will work one-on-one with an experienced instructor who will customize your guitar lessons to your musical interests and aspirations. While many music teachers use a standard instruction method for every student, Eric will ask you some questions to get familiar with what you already know and what your musical goals are. With that knowledge he will work with you to choose songs and assign specific exercises that address your needs. Of course guitar lessons are supposed to be fun so the atmosphere is always relaxed and laid back. Eric is patient and supportive no matter what your present skill level is and is great at motivating you to reach your goals.

You will need your own guitar, but all other materials will be provided at the studio.

What You Will Learn

Beginner guitar lessons initially focus on these basic skills since they are the fundamentals of all guitar playing:

  • Learning chords
  • Chord switching
  • Strumming

  • Songs of the your choosing or by Eric's recommendation

  • Developing rhythmic/chordal vocabularies
  • Fretboard mastery
  • Jazz guitar
  • Songwriting/music composition and arranging
